CP F units on a freight in the '70's
Author: spdaylight

Took this shot somewhere on the prairies back in the mid to late 70's. Was a 'grab shot' - composition a bit lacking but looking back now, figured it was worth posting due to its era. Think its a GP9 behind the B unit.

Classic ABS territory, which on CP at the time could have been either the main line east of Calgary, or the Calgary-Edmonton line.
My instincts say this is the Calgary-Edmonton line and that Alberta Highway 2 is in the background.
