How many SD60's did CP get rebuilt? I thought I had read after Hunter took over that he terminated the rebuild program and put all these up for sale?

You're right. EHH did store the units and put them up for sale. But the decision was subsequently reversed and the units returned to service.

In Montreal, how is CP's market share of intermodal vs CN's? Do both roads run stacks as well as single trailers?

In terms of import containers arriving at the Port of Montreal, CP is handling fewer than they did a year ago. CN is handling more. The CP Expressway Montreal-Toronto/Toronto-Montreal is Canada's only piggyback train. CN does not have a dedicated piggyback train in Canada.

For years, I would always see several train operations of various kinds in the space of an hour or so.

Two weeks ago I spent about 2 1/2 hours there, and all I saw was the switcher set drag one block of about 40 container cars from the port to a track in the yard. The yard was otherwise completely empty.
