Anyone know of any updates to the negotiations between CN and the Gitxsan First Nations on the August 4th eviction deadline? The Vancouver Sun article referenced in the original thread had only one mealy-mouthed statement from a spokesman at CN that said they were "negotiating".

I can't imagine a deal won't be reached but I'm very curious to see if CN's AquaTrain service will remain unaffected. As an Alaska resident and a Alaska Railroad employee I can tell you that the AquaTrain is pretty vital to the economy and rail service here. I find it curious that CN removed the AquaTrain page on their web site, which is showing a 404 error now.
