Canadian Pacific - RCP Sunday
Author: chatnoir

I'll start the ball rolling with this photo, taken about 15 minutes into its trip to London, ON.

Gliding under the pedestrian bridge in Rosedale, she hardly made a sound on the approach, although we did get a friendly whistle from the engineer.

Okay everyone, let's see what you got.

Here's the train at Milton East.

It should be noted that no less than five running F units graced CP rails at Woodstock, ON today. Here's OSR 1401 and 6508 just down the branch at Salford, with chatnotsonoir standing guard.

Ah, cats and trains. The two go together so perfectly, whether they're curled up asleep in the station, mousing in the engine house, or patrolling the property. I am partial to shots that combine the two. Nice one Paul (as are the rest). Looks like he/she's coming to great you.

What are the cars painted red/white/black? Not a new deviation from maroon I hope ...

I watched it go by and as nice as those "covered wagons" are, they would pale against the 2816 running...that would be true class.

The new EHH paint scheme? And what's that "thing" right behind the units?

That "thing" is an ex CP Silk car converted to a steam generator converted to a HEP power car. And yes, the bright red is the "New" CP passenger scheme....

Looks like it might just be an EHH inspired scheme for his little
3 car business train. I hope he leaves the RCP alone.

Don't expect the heavyweights to be painted red.

Ugh. Blech. Too CN-ish.

One more reason to look forward to EHH going buhbye and a return to some semse of reason.

What is the purpose of this special move? Are the cars occupied? An earlier photo showed the curtain down on the theatre car.
