Canadian Railroads > Canadian Pacific - RCP SundayDate: 08/17/14 15:31 Canadian Pacific - RCP Sunday Author: chatnoir I'll start the ball rolling with this photo, taken about 15 minutes into its trip to London, ON.
Gliding under the pedestrian bridge in Rosedale, she hardly made a sound on the approach, although we did get a friendly whistle from the engineer. Okay everyone, let's see what you got. James Adeney Toronto, ON Date: 08/17/14 16:00 Re: Canadian Pacific - RCP Sunday Author: mapleglen Nice shot.Anyone know if it will be heading into the US and down the Wabash to Chicago?

It should be noted that no less than five running F units graced CP rails at Woodstock, ON today. Here's OSR 1401 and 6508 just down the branch at Salford, with chatnotsonoir standing guard. - Paul Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 08/17/14 18:01 by crs1026. The two go together so perfectly, whether they're curled up asleep in the station, mousing in the engine house, or patrolling the property. I am partial to shots that combine the two. Nice one Paul (as are the rest). Looks like he/she's coming to great you. James Date: 08/17/14 19:42 Re: Canadian Pacific - RCP Sunday Author: tomstp That is a great CP scheme, always liked it.
Date: 08/17/14 21:26 Re: Canadian Pacific - RCP Sunday Author: PumpkinHogger What are the cars painted red/white/black? Not a new deviation from maroon I hope ...
Date: 08/17/14 22:08 Re: Canadian Pacific - RCP Sunday Author: Finderskeepers I watched it go by and as nice as those "covered wagons" are, they would pale against the 2816 running...that would be true class.

That "thing" is an ex CP Silk car converted to a steam generator converted to a HEP power car. And yes, the bright red is the "New" CP passenger scheme.... -Trevor Date: 08/18/14 10:47 Re: Canadian Pacific - RCP Sunday Author: The_Chief_Way Looks like it might just be an EHH inspired scheme for his little
3 car business train. I hope he leaves the RCP alone. Date: 08/18/14 13:01 Re: Canadian Pacific - RCP Sunday Author: CCMF Don't expect the heavyweights to be painted red.
Bill Miller Galt, ON Date: 08/18/14 21:59 Re: Canadian Pacific - RCP Sunday Author: PumpkinHogger Ugh. Blech. Too CN-ish.
One more reason to look forward to EHH going buhbye and a return to some semse of reason. tsokolan Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > CA_Sou_MA_Agent Wrote: > -------------------------------------------------- > ----- > > PumpkinHogger Wrote: > ----------------- > > > What are the cars painted red/white/black? > And > yes, the bright red is the "New" CP passenger > scheme.... > > -Trevor Edited 2 time(s). An earlier photo showed the curtain down on the theatre car.
