Canadian Railroads > Citirail in RevelstokeDate: 08/20/14 09:41 Citirail in Revelstoke Author: rschonfelder I was down at the yard crossing on the 20th August and saw this Intermodal train heading west out of the yard. I was surprised to see this Citirail unit trailing. I look at TO pretty much as my sole source of what is going on in the North American scene and yet haven't seen anyone posting a photo of these units up here. I don't know if this is unusual but I thought it was unique.
The third photo is meant to provide Railfans of something to be aware of. This is Bear scat and shows that wheat has been eaten from track spillage. A late night walk through Revelstoke after dark resulted in an encounter (more of an observation) of a Black Bear from close proximity. He/she walked out from the shadows of some of the homes and what struck me was how quiet the animal was. Rick Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 08/20/14 09:48 by rschonfelder. LOL No that was the "Cheese Blend" what ever that was. Too bad you weren't there when they got the waffle machine and put little ads on the door knobs and on the little desks in the rooms. Date: 08/20/14 22:35 Re: Citirail in Revelstoke Author: trainjunkie Those rooms were more like prison cells. I was so stoked when I drove through there in 2007 and saw they had bulldozed the place. Good riddance.
