Canadian Railroads > Empress of Eights on LagganDate: 08/30/14 13:38 Empress of Eights on Laggan Author: KickingHorse CP 8888 doesn't show up out west a lot and it's almost always on 198/199. Well not today; it's leading a westbound manifest (401?) and I caught it doing some switching at Exshaw.
First, it dropped some tankers into track 1 for the 2switch. Then it dropped some empty cement hoppers and GP38-2 3054 into track 2. Looks like 3054 is replacing 3040 (gone) as the west leader for the Exshaw switcher. Date: 08/30/14 13:46 Re: Empress of Eights on Laggan Author: KickingHorse Then it was back to the main, back up to some tankers not dropped, forward so the conductor can get on the tail end and back again all the way to east of Exshaw West (569/570) to get the rest of their train.
