Not Quite Fall Color on CN's Edson Sub

I ventured out yesterday afternoon west of Edmonton AB to scout out the fall color. Leaves are changing, but full color is still a few days away.

#1 Train 111 with a ho hum consist of 2 Dash 9's near Ascot Beach (Wabamum) Alberta

#2 Holy Smurf someone washed a GE! CN 2290 leads train 301 west near Seba Beach AB

#3 High Pucker Factor on this shot. CN 5783 leads train 845 at last light west of Carvel AB.

The colours will changing fast. Early last week on the Laggan, they looked to have several weeks to go before reaching their climax. By Friday, the leaves were near their full glory.

Catch em before their gone.
