Canadian Railroads > Another 120 for HalifaxDate: 10/20/14 16:57 Another 120 for Halifax Author: kgmontreal CN 120 leaves Montreal daily for Halifax. Not every lashup is as special as today's with a GE cowl, the 15th Anniversary of Privatization C40 and an SD70M-2. The train departed Montreal at 1000.
Three units were probably not enough power east of Quebec City for the climbs over the Pelletier grade in Quebec and the Odell grade in New Brunswick. As I type this, 120 is rolling through the night toward Moncton. Hopefully if an extra unit was added it's behind the 2437. KG Edited 2 time(s). Last edit at 10/20/14 17:25 by kgmontreal. I planned to get out to see it but a phone call kept me from getting out the door in time.
