A few images of the bridge at mile 206, BC Rail Lillooet sub. The trickle of water under the bridge is known as Fiftyone Creek.

a few more images. was a 30 mph speed limit on the bridge, and I always slowed to a crawl so the passengers could get some pictures while on the bridge.

I have never found out the significance to the name Fiftyone Creek, actually a trickle of water. Was it 51 miles from somewhere or the 51st creek crossed. The creek is not noted on the highway #97 not far down stream.

br 07 another view of the RMR northbound
br 08 "Chairmans Train" southbound
br 09 Chairmans train again, we stopped for photos.

Next up will be two videos taken crossing the bridge.

Thanks for the photos.
I hiked up there once from the highway to photograph a southbound freight, but think of the photo you could get of an afternoon northbound from that ridge in the distance in photo one. Time to plan my next trip...
