CN 120 departed Montreal 10 a.m. Friday with a pair of four-window Dash-9's and a BNSF.

I looked for you, Ray. But you weren't on the overpass.

Nice!

The leader even appears to have decent paint, unlike most of that first batch of Dash-9s.

No peeling clearcoat on either the 2502 or the 2512.

120 made particularly good time on Friday and overnight. I was hoping to shoot them at Folly Lake around 0900 or so, but they were almost there at 0720 as the sun was coming up, and I was still 30 minutes from Truro. I'll use this opportunity to see how my first public video turned out. The scenes include three of 120 between Truro and Halifax, and one of manifest 407, which was waiting for 120 at Windsor Jct.

Your videos came out very well. 407 certainly had a good roll on the train!

Maybe it's warmer in the Valley Doug, but it was -7 C yesterday morning in Truro. I wasn't really prepared for it, and my fingers suffered a bit! :-)
