Canadian Railroads > again, 9 years agoDate: 12/08/14 09:54 again, 9 years ago Author: hoggerdoug More from 9 years ago this day. Once again at Exeter BC, happy in the service on another cold winter day.
Southbound arrived to make a pickup, had BNSF 4659 as middle unit. Certainly made a colorful combination. Date: 12/08/14 10:00 Re: again, 9 years ago Author: hoggerdoug BNSF 4659 again
Conductor teaching the new kid, we were pulling the log spur at Ainsworth OSB "Follow me kid, we'll go bug the grumpy hogger, bet he has the heaters on high" The young man we were training turned out well as a railroader, caught on to the job and I felt quite comfortable and confident working with him as Conductor even though he was 30 or so years younger to me and only a few months on the job. Thanks for looking, Doug Date: 12/08/14 10:38 Re: again, 9 years ago Author: spdaylight Doug
How often would you get a BNSF unit on the home rails . . . I would assume not often . . . was BC Rail short of power at that time? Craig http://mcmrailvideos.com/ Date: 12/08/14 10:45 Re: again, 9 years ago Author: hoggerdoug spdaylight Wrote:

It stumped me to see it there in Exeter, although later on we had an ex UP and ONR units go through as well, it was leased.
