And I always thought the PGE stood for "Prince George Eventually". ;-)

I heard it was "Please Go Easy."

I wish I could remember the exact wording of the old poem about the PGE ..

I clatter, clatter as I go,
From nowhere on to never.
I have a middle without ends
I am the Please Go Easy.

That's all I can remember ... and even that might be wrong!

I would also love to get my hands on some of the Len Norris cartoons from the Vancouver Sun showing the Ambleside & Tiddlycove going through houses etc.

A PGE boxcar sitting in the Central BC Railway & Forestry Museum in Prince George. I shot this in June of 2009. For a museum with such close ties to the PGE there's not a lot of PGE stuff visible--quite a bit of BCOL though...
