Canadian Railroads > Winter has arrived!Date: 12/10/14 10:33 Winter has arrived! Author: briancdn I went out this morning to grab a few photos in St Lambert, Quebec at the beginning of what will be a significant snowfall.
1) A lone unit runs into Montreal from Southwark Yard 2) Amtrak's Adirondack arrives from Montreal and picks up a lone passenger at St Lambert before continuing on to Albany & NYC 3) CN 120 comes off the Victoria Bridge as it begins its eastward journey to Halifax Date: 12/10/14 12:47 Re: Winter has arrived! Author: andersonb109 Winter doesn't begin until December 21. Don't make it any longer than it already is!

Date: 12/10/14 13:58 Re: Winter has arrived! Author: kgmontreal The 2113 had an interesting day. It ran to Taschereau Yard, got turned, then backed to Turcot where it picked up a BNSF unit. From Turcot the pair backed to the Port of Montreal to pick up an extra stack train for Chicago. As of 1600 it had not departed.

used to CN motive power without a safety cab... The locomotive seems almost naked. Date: 12/10/14 18:12 Re: Winter has arrived! Author: va3cp Bryce,
I think the standard cab units look better that the wide cab units. But that is my opinion only. Understandably, the wide safety cabs serve a purpose. Dave Burroughs Hamilton, ON Date: 12/11/14 00:55 Re: Winter has arrived! Author: Thumper va3cp Wrote:
