Canadian Railroads > Alcos on BC Rail - 2002Date: 12/12/14 16:28 Alcos on BC Rail - 2002 Author: pummer From back in 2002, caught these BC Rail Alcos in the yard at Fort St. John, British Columbia. Sure glad I made a few visits to BC before the CN took over.

Date: 12/13/14 09:15 Re: Alcos on BC Rail - 2002 Author: hoggerdoug to the best of my knowledge they were all scrapped. CN did not want to bother with the CAT engines. The RS18's were a good unit, the CRS20 was a good puller in the yard. Images taken April 2007 at Prince George, I was wondering how to load one of the cabs and take it home, make a garden shed or at least a real conversation piece. Doug

Keith Robertson Langley, BC Date: 12/16/14 09:08 Re: Alcos on BC Rail - 2002 Author: BCR_766 A number of those units were also scrapped in Edmonton at the Railway Museum in the spring of 2007, with a couple 1400 series GMD-1's, and a couple SD40-2W's. Such a sad sight!!
