Just a note to say that construction of the AMT Lachine Service Center on the site of the former CP Sortin Yard in Montreal is well advanced. The size of the locomotive shop seems comparable to the facilities in the CN and CP yards, and there is a second equally-large (if not larger) building which I presume is for car maintenance. I can see the buildings from a distance from Norman Street; I don't think closer access is possible.
