Canadian Railroads > Bright Finish to a Dull DayDate: 04/22/15 19:05 Bright Finish to a Dull Day Author: cn6218 Today didn't start off very impressively. It was spitting rain when I went to work, and there wasn't much hope of improvement. However, by the time I got home in the afternoon, the sun was shining through the roughly 50% cloud cover, and I got an e-mail informing me that a very late 120 had gone through Truro at 16:50 with a 2900 on the point. True to form, the train reached Windsor Jct. about 60 minutes later, the remaining clouds cooperated, and I was able to bag an eastbound train with sun on the nose at 17:58. As a bonus, all three GEs, (2916 and 2183 behind 2939) were in fresh paint jobs as they rounded the curve at Bedford Quarry.
