Canadian Railroads > A 'Millenium' caboose in bad shapeDate: 04/25/15 17:18 A 'Millenium' caboose in bad shape Author: Mberry CN 79834 is seen stopped in Vankleek Hill, Ontario on the obscure CN Vankleek Spur. This caboose was built by CN in their Pointe St-Charles shop in Montreal under the same number. CN sold it to the Ontario L'Orignal Railway (OLOR) in 1996, which was taken over by the Ottawa Central Railway. The OLOR named it 'Millenium' for reasons unknown to me. In 2008 CN took over the Ottawa Central and renumbered the caboose back to its CN number. It is used for backup moves on the L'Orignal Spur and is not in good shape.
Michael Berry Date: 04/26/15 05:37 Re: A 'Millenium' caboose in bad shape Author: Ray_Murphy I'm glad to see that CN is not letting its standards down with regard to the condition of any of its remaining cabooses:
