A derelict MLW S-3
Author: Mberry

Thanks to KG's eagle eye, he let me know an MLW switcher was visible off highway 17 in L'Orignal, Ontario, near Ivaco Rolling Mills. On the way back from the Ottawa Train Expo I trekked a bit to get these shots. The switcher is an MLW S-3 built for Bathurst Power & Paper in 1953 which Ivaco Rolling Mills acquired in 1999; the cab was rebuilt at some point. It clearly has not been in use for some time now. This is a bit southwest of the mill.

EDIT: I should have saved this for MLW monday!

You can have the horn, but you gotta take the locomotive under it also.
