Canadian Railroads > MLW Monday at Keith AlbertaDate: 04/27/15 09:50 MLW Monday at Keith Alberta Author: arwye Keith Alberta was a sleepy little yard located some nine and a half miles west of downtown Calgary, along the banks of the Bow River. Canadian Pacific used it for storing empty grains boxes and bad order cars waiting for repairs at Ogden or scrapping, as well as staging their robotized unit grain trains, when that era arrived. About 41 years ago (April 1974) M630 4554 leads an eastbound through Keith, which today is surrounded by Calgary's sprawling suburbs.
