MLW Monday Amtrak
Author: kgmontreal

In the early summer of 1980 a pair of Amtrak LRC units and their train of LRC coaches were under test on CN's St-Hyacinthe sub.  Between test runs the units were parked on the remaining stub of the original Sorel sub at St Lambert, QC.

Are those former Amtrak LRC Cars** still at the Montreal Maintenance Centre or have they been scrapped? They were there for a long time as I believe VIA had considered rebuilding them to be compatible with their own LRCs

(**but in VIA paint from their days on the International)
