Canadian Railroads > Here and There on the Squamish Subdivision

Here are some photos of train 546, the daily local on the south end of CN's Squamish Sub., taken over the last month.
1. 5471 south near Westbay, about seven miles from its destination of North Vancouver.
2. The seasonal Rocky Mountaineer passenger train to Whistler is operating again, putting to use the sidings at Brunswick and Porteau which support only rust and ivy during the other eight months of the year. Here's RMR 8013 north, train 611, meeting 546 at Brunswick.
3. Three SD60s haul 76 cars of lumber, wood chips, steel pipe, and rail through a deep cut at mile 34, south of Squamish.
