The "Super Continental" has just left Jasper and is now continuing its trip east in the spring of 1973.

"Super" shot!

Were the ex Milwaukee Road Sky Domes still on the train at this time?

If you're referring to the ex-MILW "Skyview" cars ( known as "Skytops" on the MILW ),
from what I've read the CN used them in the Maritimes and on the Prince Rupert train.
I can't say they never operated on the Super Continental but don't think it happened on
a regular basis.

Most of the photos I took of the Super Continental in a two week period in May of 1973 had the dome on the train.

He's not referring to those. The reference is to the six full-length Super Domes, four aquired in 1964 and two more in 1965.  CN called them Sceneramic Lounges. They ran on both the Panorama (launched in 1964, discontinued in Janaury 1970) and the Super Continental, usually only between points in Western Canada. However, in the summer of 1970, they were used for the full distance between Vancouver and Toronto. They were used into the VIA era, finally being removed from service on October 25, 1981.
