Canadian Railroads > One train...Two bridges...

Hello to all.
A couple of times a week we see the RMR depart the Lorne St. station in Kamloops around 0800.
This train is bound for Vancouver. 

1. RMR 8011 and 8019 will power the train west. Leaving Lorne St. the train immediately crosses the South Thompson River.

2. About 3 miles out of Lorne St. the train takes the west wye track towards the bridge. Signals govern bridge and mainline access after switch is turned.

3. Within 10 minutes of leaving the station, the RMR 8011 West crosses the North Thompson River. And there will be more bridges for the RMR guests as the day goes by on the way to Vancouver.

Shortly after the passenger train passed, A CN freight came onto the bridge from the east.

A good way to start the day.

No laws were broken in an effort to capture the images.
If the stars align, the small train delays getting to the second bridge allow for the 3 images to be taken.
The image above shows what happens when "you just make it". no time for better composition.
aahh well...still nice to be out there!
