MLW Monday, The Royal Hudson's 75th Birthday!!

The Royal Hudson, CPR 2860 turned 75 years old this month as she was built in June 1940.

She was pulled outside from the roundhouse for the first time in 4.5 Years and open to guests, inside the cab was two of the current caretakers Trevor Mills and Richard Courage, also the engineer of our many trips Mark Liggins. Sorry no photos of them as I was busy with speeder/pump-car rides.

Thanks to everyone who came out to make it a special day.

Beautiful locomotive.  I only saw her one time, on a tourist promotion tour from Windsor, Ont. via the old PM mainline across Michigan in the 70's.
