BC Rail units, trailing and leading
Author: Mberry

I shot two trains on the Montreal sub today with BC Rail power, first trailing and then leading.

First was CN 120 early this morning with two SD75I's sandwiching two BC Rail Dash9's (CN 5654, BCOL 4650, BCOL 4645, CN 5708). The train is passing MP 6 of the Montreal sub at Turcot West.

Later, in the afternoon I shot CN 323 with an all-cowl lashup with BCOL 4608 leading CN 5538 as it approached Taschereau Yard on its way back from St. Albans, Vermont. The left numberboard is held in place by duct tape! Thanks to Frank Jolin for the OS on this one.

A trip thru the wash rack would do wonders for the 4608.

4608 was the dash 8 I seemed to see the most throughout the mid to late 90s. I think it's the only unit that did not get the nose door window installed during BC Rail's upgrade program for those units. Nice to see that hasn't changed.
