Lots of trains, lots of clouds
Author: Mberry

After work today I headed to CN's Montreal sub. There was lots of sun, but that lasted about 5 minutes.... followed by mostly cloud cover and a lot of freights. Ray Murphy joined me for most of these trains. Shot from the St-Jacques overpass on the Lachine/Montreal West border.

1-CN 527 with fresh repain CN 2193 trailing heads east.

2-CN 400.

3-CN 309 after a crew change.

4-Interesting load on CN 309.

5-The Pointe St-Charles switcher heads to Taschereau Yard with a pair of smokey GP9's.

6-CN 323 returning from Vermont.

7-Finally at about 1950, a 12 hour or so late CN 529 with a varied lashup. Leading is ex-Conrail NS 8335, followed by NS 8820, ex-UP NS 7324 & CN 2286.

Nice phots.  I cannot help but think of your Winter shots from this location and the pile of snow that was in the background where you said the City used for dumping the removal from the road plowing.

Now everything is so lush and green.

I saw the crane load that you saw on 309 leaving Halifax earlier in the week. It was on train 121 when I saw it along with the other traffic to be dropped in Moncton.
