``Red Barn's`` for the CMQ

The first of ten ex-Canadian Pacific SD40-2F's arrived on the Central Maine & Quebec Ry property on October 1st.  CMQ 9022 poses at Farnham Yard.

I hope the CMQ invests in some paint soon.... You have to like their variety of locomotives though.

Paint is probably the last thing CMQ wants to spend money on. This railroad doesn't have any cash to spare, like its predecessor MMA. MMA only painted two locomotives. A freshy painted locomotive or two would be nice, but paint won't move the freight any more quickly or efficiently.

With GP35's, SD40T-2's, B23-7's a now SD40-2F's on the roster,  the Central Maine & Quebec is almost a museum in revenue service...

Don't the FEC own this line, They have alot of Money.

Fortress Investments owns CMQ and FEC. They are two separate railroads and don't cross-subsidize each other.
