My contribution to MLW Monday is a shot of the then new M-636 4711 westbound from St Clet on the Winchester Sub.    According to the CTG this unit was rebuilt in 1988 with a Caterpiller engine and  was sold to Minnesota Commercial Railway in 1998 and renumbered to #71.

The Cat engine conversion was very successful.  But it came too late.
