Canadian Railroads > A scene that will soon change

A lot of infrastructure work is going on in Montreal West near CN's Montreal sub these days. The short tunnel that the two VIA trains train shown hwere have just passed will soon be demolished and I am unsure if the signal bridge will remain. Both photos are from yesterday evening in Montreal West, Qc.

1-VIA 67 led by VIA 6435 passes the venerable signals with three LRC cars trailing.

2-Next up VIA 59 led by VIA 6409. The signal over the north track is lit for CN 394 which is close by.

Great photos. The cabs are well lit, and the crews are visble. The background makes this even more interesting.
