Canadian Railroads > Neither snow...nor Early morning...Date: 02/04/16 19:49 Neither snow...nor Early morning... Author: Train611 Hi,
I just had to borrow LF's introduction... Just before 0900 this morning CN2697 East rolled into Kamloops North yard. I heard the train coming and thought it would be a normal freight loco consist. I missed the train ID number. 1. IC1015 was idling waiting for work as the inbound came into the yard...note the 2nd unit. 2. Some crew, somewhere had cleaned up BC Rail 4606...it looked decent for an older unit. 3. Then came CN4641 - with the BCOL decal....not bad! The power headed up a long string of empty container flats as well as a long string of empty SULTRAN cars. The ex-BC Rail units can still be seen! Take care out there, thank you for looking. 611 Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 02/05/16 06:52 by Train611. Date: 02/05/16 15:50 Re: Neither snow...nor Early morning... Author: hoggerdoug 4606 looks to be in good shape. Not sure about the 4641, something wrong with the paint scheme. Doug

Author: train976 Russ, from here the 4606 looks to have a slight sag in her belly, (not unlike me!!) Is that an optical perspective, or is the ol' gal showing her years of back breaking work?
