Canadian Railroads > Over the end of the Lachine canalDate: 04/21/16 16:02 Over the end of the Lachine canal Author: Mberry The Pointe St-Charles switcher is heading towards interchange with the Port of Montreal with a single tank car in tow yesterday afternoon. GP9's CN 7272 & CN 4141 lead this short train over the eastern end of the Lachine canal. In the foreground is one of the canal's locks.

There is no commercial traffic on the entire Lachine canal and very little non-commercial traffic at this end of the canal. A better view of the bridge can be in this recent post of mine. |
