As loleta noted in the thread below CN train 546 on the former BC Rail Squamish Sub ran with just two cars on Saturday April 30. Traffic levels for this train have varied widly in the last few months with 70 to 100 cars being normal most days on the northbound and 118 cars being the largest train I have ever seen on the Squamish Sub exceeding anything I ever saw when BC Rail ran the show. Hidden from highway views is this attractive cliff running as the train approaches the siding at Porteau. Its a shame the call times for 546 have been changed to nights just as the longer daylight days are upon us.
