Something Blue on BC Rail
Author: cp1400

CN train 546 that works the south end of the former BC Rail, now CN Squamish Sub, was recently re-timed to go on duty in North Vancouver around 23:00 with the plan to work in Squamish and return to North Vancouver within the hours of service. Some days the tonnage requires an extra train as we see here with Extra 546 bringing 61 cars left behind by the night crew. On Sunday May 22 ex-LMS Leasing now IC 2466, still in blue paint, was the leader with IC 2465 in CN paint trailing.

1. Passing Brunswick Siding with the waters of Howe Sound in the background.

2. At MP 12, still along Howe Sound. The set out track to the left is needed if the 14.4 detector finds a defect.
