Saturday Afternoon at Bartlett Ave, Toronto
Author: MrGrumpy

Spent this afternoon at Bartlett Avenue, one of the few grade crossings left on CP's North Toronto Sub.  I left my scanner at home, but a friendly CP Police officer let me know an eastbound and a westbound were on the way, so I stuck around in the heat.

1) CP 8904 eastbound with 1 hopper, 100 oil loads, another hopper and DPU 8766 @ 13:58
2) CEFX 1006 and CP 9710 with 43 auto racks westbound @ 14:42

Cheers,
Dwayne

FYI that the first is CP 650, which is actually an ethanol train.

Thanks for the info Mberry... I see tank cars and I just think oil.

Was at Davenport Road this evening to catch the Expressway, first train I saw was another eastbound ethenol.  Union Pacific on the head end, Union Pacific on the rear.

Cheers,
Dwayne

The one with UP units at each end was in fact an oil train, CP 550 for Albany.
