Canadian Railroads > I'd Like Your Help Again -- CP

Anything to help me with caprtions would be appreciated.  The processor's date on the first 3 is October 1978 and on the 4th one March 1980.  These are Roger Puta's photos.

The first shot appears to be of the tail end of the "Canadian" at the CP station in Vancouver. The backs of the buildings in "Gastown" are visible as is the wooden bridge over the tracks connecting to the docks.

The second shot looking back on The Canadian looks like the Toronto section, judging by the smoothside baggage and lack of Montreal block sleepers behind the diner. Granted, by 1978, CP had cut things down so much that they may not have bothered splicing the diner in the first place.

Definitely Lovekin. However I think this was shot from the bridge over the CN Kingston sub.

When I rode the Canadian in March of 1975, the Park car came out of Montreal.  We had a Chateau sleeper bring up the rear from Toronto to Sudbury. That was in 1975 off season at least. .
