Canadian Railroads > CN -588Date: 06/20/16 22:07 CN -588 Author: Train611 Hello,
A couple of days a week we see CN588 on the move from Kamloops North Yards, past Lorne St Station (Keg)...see eminence's previous post...heading to Campbell Creek on the Shuswap Sub, where it connects to the CN Okanagan Sub to Armstrong and Vernon. 1. CN 2202 east was waiting for clearance onto CP tracks. 2. IC 2460 was part of the power for the train. (a couple of days ago). 3. A tourist type photo op...the Red Bridge is just to the right of the sign...a narrow, wooden trestle bridge, in daily use by cars and pick-ups. A bench allows for rest periods, and 6 days a week some RMR morning or afternoon photo ops; CN 588 & 587 photo ops; interchange yard switching; 2141 steam train operation when running and the odd unit coal train from CP to CN. And when it is a nice mornig...best time of the day! Thanks for looking, 611 Date: 06/21/16 09:15 Re: CN -588 Author: greshe3 Great pictures , still waiting for that day to catch that IC unit leading on the okanagan train
