Canadian Railroads > BCOL 4654 for Hoggerdoug

After seeing Doug's comment about the 4654 a few days back, I took a quick look through the archives and found that I did have a picture of BC Rail's last new locomotive, the 3900s being second hand.

Here we see 4654 leading a southbound freight into Lillooet BC on October 22nd, 2002. It will meet a northbound freight at Lillooet and continue south after a crew change. This took place not long after the Cariboo Prospector had arrived in town for the day with myself aboard.
Nice day to be riding the train, I remember being disappointed I couldn't ride in the vestibule at the back of the train where I had seen so many pictures taken from.

Not the best picture, but it's one I have.
