Canadian Railroads > Speaking of high sun...Date: 06/27/16 16:06 Speaking of high sun... Author: Mberry Geoff's post about CN 120 mentioned high sun and unfortunately high sun period is when CN 327 tends to leave Taschereau Yard in Montreal. I went out to shoot it yesterday anyways as my friend was conductor and the lashup was a CSXT SD40-3 and AC6000CW.
1-First I shot it at Dorval, where it was backlit as well as not so great sun. 2-Then I shot it crossing the Ottawa River as it left the island of Montreal. At least the sun was at my back for shot. 3-Finally I shot it at Coteau, on the Valleyfield Sub wye. By now it was 1213 and the sun was really harsh and I headed home.
