Canadian Railroads > Just When KG Thought All We Would See Was......

AC GEs all summer long, what shows up today, but one of CN's rarest road diesels, SD70ACe 8103.  How did you guys in Montreal miss this one?

Not only did we have fine weather for the departure today, but they actually started rolling before 20:00, since the pickup at Milford (gypsum) was going to consume 30-40 minutes later in the evening.

​These pictures were taken at the Moirs Mills causeway in Bedford.  Power up front was 8103 and 2828, with 3053 as the DPU.

Now that is cool.  How did I miss it in Montreal?  Simple.  I was in Ottawa.  Glad you got it.

Also, 8103 was the DP on CN 120 out of Montreal..... not quite as interesting! 3053 led.
