New cabooses in this day and age?
Author: kgmontreal

Yesterday's CN train 368 arrived Montreal with a pair of "new" cabooses for the Quebec North Shore & Labrador.  The QNSL has a small fleet of cabooses used in maintenance of way service.  That fleet will soon grow by two.

Nice looking cabooses!  Is that an ACI label on the center side of the blue caboose (seen in second picture)?  If not, what is it?

The 3300 had been at the Tennessee Central Railway Museum in Nashville, TN and was restored there as C&O 3300.  Must be raising cash or something getting rid of that one.

Both of these cabs were in Nashville at TCRM when I was thereally 3 years ago. The IC car was pretty nice when it was recently listed for sale on Ozark Mountain Railcar. Fun to see them going "back to work"...

My friend who works for CN saw them at Coteau yesterday. He assumes they are going to Allrail.
