Canadian Railroads > More Location and Caption Help PleaseDate: 08/26/16 00:28 More Location and Caption Help Please Author: MartyBernard Today I came across 44 of Roger Puta's slides taken in Canada. You have helped me with locations and other significant details in the past and I'd appreciate more help.
The one note I have from Roger, it simply says Fraser and Thompson Canyons in BC, November 1984. How ever many days he was there, I have found almost no slides taken in the sun. 1. B01 CN 5250 Canada November 1984 2. B10 CN 6353 Canada November 1984 3. B15 CN 6353 Canada November 1984 Continued ... Edited 2 time(s). Last edit at 08/26/16 00:33 by MartyBernard. 5. G26 CP 5752 Canada in November 1985 Thanks in advance, Marty Bernard Date: 08/26/16 01:22 Re: More Location and Caption Help Please Author: GREENGROCER # 1 Westbound at west end of Savona B.C. siding # 2 Westbound near Walachin B.C. # 3 Wesbound west of Spences Bridge B.C # 4Westbound coming into Boston Bar B.C. # 5 Bit of a guess but it looks like an Eastbound at the East end of Thompson siding B.C. Cheers

Cheers I would agree with what this person says about #5; looks like Thompson east switch. Rick Date: 08/26/16 12:09 Re: More Location and Caption Help Please Author: MartyBernard Thanks for the help. As to #5, this photo looks like the same place. Do you agree it's the Thompson east switch?
I hope you don't mind doing this. I have many more. BTW, in this photo, what is the grey car between the 2nd and 3rd locomotive. Radio control car for DPUs?? That is indeed a robot control car for the remotes further back in the train.

Chris Rye Date: 08/26/16 19:54 Re: More Location and Caption Help Please Author: cp1400 # 2 is about half way between Walhachin and McAbee.
#3 is west of Spence's Bridge but closer to the approach signal for Pitquah siding that was later renamed Morris. More correctly its between Seddall and Pitquah. cp1400 Date: 08/27/16 05:43 Re: More Location and Caption Help Please Author: rschonfelder exrtc Wrote:
