Canadian Railroads > Royal Canadian Pacific on the CP Shuswap Sub

I got a heads up the other day that the Royal Canadian Pacific train was getting ready to depart Revelstoke B.C.  on the Shuswap Sub so i thought i would take a run over from Salmon Arm and see if i could find it . thanks for looking Greg ..


(1) after waiting for 20 minutes it arrived in Taft MP 24.3 shuswap sub .

(2) Moving right along arriving in Malakwa B.C.

(3) Malakwa B.C

(4) On a meet with hot shot at Cambie, Tail end remote just clearing the switch .

(5) Leaving Cambie and heading for Sicamous .

(6) Crossing over the river between Shuswap Lake and Mara Lake in Sicamous .

(7) After a double meet in Annis RMR 8011 arrived in Canoe (Nipple Point ) before the RCP .

(8)  Royal Canadian Pacific arrives in Canoe B.C.

(9) Heading though Canoe west switch .

A beautiful series of photos. Congratulations on Image of the Day. I visited Revelstoke National Park years ago with my family and it is indeed a beautiful area.

Such a shame this train no longer runs public trips. (Posted from AAPRCO "City of Spokane " at Missoula).
