Canadian Railroads > What Train Was This?Date: 09/18/16 10:51 What Train Was This? Author: cn6218 I've already discussed this one with KG, and he didn't have a definite answer. The location is Ste-Rosalie, QC at 07:03 on September 2nd.
Judging by the cars and the fact it has a DPU (BCOL 4654, seen at 1:07 in the video), my guess would be 306, but the time is all wrong (I think). At this time of the morning 306 should be ready to take the switch at St. André Jct. to the NTR, roughly 225 miles further east. Does this train really spend almost a day being marshalled at Joffre? Bill Turner Hamilton Ont. Date: 09/18/16 14:28 Re: What Train Was This? Author: Mberry The time is right for this to be 309, I'm pretty certain that's what it is. 309 is usually DPed and usually arrives at Joffre mid to late morning.
Michael Date: 09/18/16 14:30 Re: What Train Was This? Author: Mberry Further to this, 306 is usually out of Montreal around midnight, into Joffre about 5 hours later, works a couple of hours and leaves Joffre around 7-8 in the morning.
Michael Date: 09/18/16 14:56 Re: What Train Was This? Author: cn6218 Wrong direction for 309. Would it be 310 (Toronto to Joffre, according to the TSG)?
