Canadian Railroads > Goderich & Exeter on the hill and in the sunsetDate: 09/20/16 06:41 Goderich & Exeter on the hill and in the sunset Author: kgmontreal GEXR runs a daily freight from Stratford, Ontario to CN's Mac Yard in Toronto. Fortunately, the eastbound train 432 and the westbound 431 operate the correct directions for the sun. In the video westbound 431 climbs the grade out of Kitchener. In the still photo it approaches Stratford at sunset.

KG Date: 09/20/16 10:11 Re: Goderich & Exeter on the hill and in the sunset Author: YankeeDog I don't know if there was a helper there. Much depended on the length of the train. Kitchener rated a switcher but I have never seen a pici of a double header on the line except when there was a loco problem
