The photo is from CN and is taken at Pointe St.Charles shop in Montreal QC. Another source says it may have survived as a camp in northern Ontario. I note that at least one HO model of an ATSF steel caboose was sold using this CN number. Anyone know anything about it ? Date: 09/21/16 09:11 Re: CN steel caboose 79184 Author: kgmontreal Shows up in photos as being displayed following construction in 1961. Similar steel vans ended up on the Nfld Railway. This one may have been retrucked and sent there as well.
