After photographing train 578 out of Dawson Creek as far as the light would allow (http://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?15,4125570), I headed south to Prince George for the night. The next morning my plan was to follow train 570 out of Prince George back toward home, again for as long as there was usable light. The train and I made it as far as Lac la Hache before nightfall, 180 miles south of Prince George.
1. Train 570, 3030 south, crosses Stone Creek at Stoner.
2. Passing a small lake near Cotwood.
3. Approaching Quesnel.

4. 3030 switches in the yard at Quesnel.
5. Near Soda Creek.
6. After a crew change at Williams Lake, 570 is underway again at Onward.

7. Near Enterprise.
8, 9. Coming and going at Lac la Hache. That was about it for light, so I continued on to Lillooet for the night. Train 570 would get there several hours later.

Bet the 3030 crew got used to seeing you  . . and probably in a lot of unexpected locations.  Loving your posts on your trip 'up and downt the line'  How long were you gone?

Thanks! Besides the crew, 3030 had on board someone from CN's marketing department and the mayor of Prince George.
I was gone 12 days total; I have photos from the final day still to post.
