For the Lac St-Jean Sub the only daily trains are CN 368 leaving Garneau northbound very early in the morning/middle of the night and southbound CN 369 arriving at Garneau about noon or so. VIA trains run 6 times a week, 3 in each direction. Other than that there are ocassional freight extra's. I don't know the La Tuque Sub as well but I think it's the same density, but all freight traffic is at night.

I co-wrote an article about the Lac St-Jean sub, it can be found in the August 2014 issue of Railpace.
