Canadian Railroads > rambling about in Ontario, last 3 shotsDate: 10/13/16 10:35 rambling about in Ontario, last 3 shots Author: hoggerdoug 3 images from Ontario trip. My brother and I were out and about Sept 24 and coaught these 2 Via trains at Thamesville. We went over the crossing and spotted a west bound headlight. Lo and behold an eastbound got there first. I was not used to the speeds of Via and not the greatest of images. "Green flags" on both sides of the crossing and I had hoped for some speed reduction. ZOOM!!!
images: 1 Via 6446 east bound at 10:07 2 Via 6408 west bound at 10:08 3 at Inksetter Rd, Copetown ON, a rainy afternoon with this westbound 6419, time 13:12. Just as I was ready to push the shutter button the hogger extingushed the ditchlights (snicker) I suppose he did that for the MoW Foreman just ahead. Forgotten the issues here with the roadbed, some water or spring issues with a permanent slow order as well as a watchman on site. Hopefully some of the local fellows can complete the story. doug |
