CMQ in the snow. Winter started early
Author: kgmontreal

Winter in Quebec came early.  Yesterday's chase of the CMQ's Farnham-Sherbrooke turn had us floundering about in a foot of snow.  In the first shot the 9017 and 9020 lift cars from the siding at Foster.  In the second, the train rumbles over the Eastman trestle.

Amazing how a little fresh paint can make a railroad's image go from Scruffy to Respectable.

So true.  Those patched LTEX ex-Santa Fe GP35 units were/are hardly inspirational.

Excellent composition at Foster.

Why were there cars in the siding there?

Best regards,

That looks like a class outfit. Hope they run as well as they look. Amazing what a coat of paint can do for a company's image.
