Canadian Railroads > MLW Monday 1973Date: 11/28/16 03:50 MLW Monday 1973 Author: kgmontreal In the spring of 1973 this trio of MLWs, an FA-2 and two RS10 units, pulled eastbound freight through de Beaujeu, Quebec on the Winchester sub. The two trailing units were equipped with steam generators for passenger service, the cab unit was not.

I started shooting trains in 1975 on a pitiful Brownie 127, and moved up to a Pentax for slides in 1976. I never saw an FA run; I think some were still active, but were mostly tied up by Spring 1977. What's weird is to think "I never saw these because I'm a youngster", and then realize I'm 61 years old. Time flies; thanks for posting this one.
